Food Drive @ Edwards Lifesciences (S’pore) Pte Ltd

“One of our company’s aspirations is to “Strenghten the Community” in which we live in. Since we were set up in Singapore in 2005, we have organised several charitable events to reach out to the needy in our society.

In August 09, we kicked off the canned food donation drive to support the food from the Heart (FFTH) charity organisation. The donation drive was held from 12th to 31st August 2009. Our employess were encouraged to participate in this drive by donating at least 2 canned food items. By the closinf date, we have collected nearly 1,500 canned food items from our generous employees.

We are pleased to present all these donations to FFTH on 7th Sep 09 at 4pm in our facility. John Stevens, our Plant Manager, has presented the donations to FFTH founder, Christine Laimer.

Food Drive @ Maha Bodhi School

They say the greatest gift one can receive is that which comes from the heart.

We would like to thank the staff and students of Maha Bodhi School for the kind support and generous contribution towards our organisation.

 

From the food drive that was conducted at Maha Bodhi School in July, Food from the Heart has managed to collect over 100,000kg of rice and other non perishable food items such as canned food and instant noodles for the underprivileged under our care.

 

The total value of food items collected is an impressive amount of $8488, making it one of the Best food drive conducted this year!

 

We truly appreciate the thoughtfulness of your students and staff. The kind gesture will go a long way in making a difference in the lives of these needy families.
